It was only a few weeks ago that Sony released its major PS3 firmware update, v3.40 – which added PlayStation Plus support, Facebook features and more. However, version 3.41 has now gone live, with a “You May Like” section added.According to Samit Sarkar at destructoid.com, the v3.41 update is much less significant than the previous update, and only seems to add game and video recommendations to the PlayStation Store. Some may be wondering now, what it’s all about.Well, when you look at a piece of content now in the PlayStation Store, you’ll notice a “You May Like” section on the right hand side. If people actually click on the “You May Like” section, they’ll then be treated to an Amazon-style list of other items.All these items will be stuff that has been purchased by other PSN users, who bought the item that you were looking at. Okay, her first single was a dud. But Nicki Minaj is slicing the competition to pieces with her second try, the Annie Lennox-sampling “Your Love.” A slow cut about a guy whose affection she’d do anything for, it’s currently No. 1 on the Billboard rap songs chart. This morning Nicki released its video. In it she plays a samurai in training who falls for her sensei. The only problem is that one of her her classmates has too. The British Open 2010 reached its conclusion earlier on today and it was Louis Oosthuizen that won in big style, in more ways than one. The challenging weather conditions at The Old Course, St. Andrews in Scotland had made life tough for all the players, but it was Oosthuizen who gained his first-ever majors win, amazingly 7-shots clear at the finish (see earlier article).Now many of you are wondering what the prize money is for the British Open Championship 2010. In spite of the current economic climate you may be surprised to know the overall prize fund actually rose this year, for the first time since 2006. The total purse has risen by £600,000 this year to take the amount to £4.8 million, according to The Press Association. If you want an easy currency converter to see what that is wherever you are then go here.The defending champion, Stuart Cink, took home £750,000 last year, but Louis Oosthuizen will collect £850,000 this year. The transition from web series to TV could have been tough for the often-grotesque medical satire Childrens Hospital -- a show where doctors get turned on by life-threatening surgeries and saving patients takes a backseat to highly choregraphed dance numbers, among other things. Fortunately for the show's fans, it isn't going to primetime: it's going to Adult Swim, where it's freakishness will fit in just fine. "Adult Swim has the closest thing to an outsider's sensibility," executive producer Jonathan Stern says. "We figured that was the closest we could come to being on television without actually people thinking we were on television." Watch videos of Childrens Hospital Creator, star and executive producer Rob Corddry (The Daily Show) launched the fictional series-within-a-series on TheWB.com in 2008 to mock medical procedurals like  ER and Grey's Anatomy. Lake Bell provides the Meredith Grey-style voice-overs, and her character, Dr. Cat Black, is shown breaking up with 15 various partners in the span of a single "previously on" segment.
