After a brief vacation the whole cast of iCarly is back with a season premiere full of surprises and gifts for the viewers. The installment focused on Carly’s (played by Miranda Cosgrove) bedroom which we have never seen before. Here is the recap of the episode: Spencer tries to give Carly the best birthday ever. He lets Gibby’s grandfather cut his hair and he makes Carly a gummy bear lamp. Everything thing goes bad after a gummy bear lamp Spencer made catches Carly’s room on fire. Spencer then finds out that his relative’s watch that Carly had was destroyed and was worth ,000. PAM MADIGAN ADMITS SAN FRANCISCO MARATHON HAS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
The San Francisco Marathon has a long tradition dating back to 1977, and has added many smaller races to compliment the main event. It will be drawing in around 24,000 runners among its races, but Pam Madigan, the race director, says the marathon “has lots of room to grow.” The fact remains that the San Francisco Marathon could be drawing in a lot more money to the San Francisco area, but it simply doesn’t. There is no main corporate sponsor for the event, it gets little publicity compared to other large marathons, and has a bad reputation among runners. The SF marathon is reputed as a hilly run that is often chilly, and struggles with weather conditions. The city itself also wasn’t especially warming to the race when it was building it roots. The Fisherman’s Wharf is known for their complaints of the race during the 80?s. The number of runners in the US is growing rapidly. According to Running USA, in 2009 there were 467,000 runners who finished a marathon. That was the all-time highest number of finishers.
